Esagono Monello is a family-run Guest House located in an ancient building dating from the early 1800s, in the heart of the old town of Avola, Sicily, just a few miles away from Syracuse and Noto.
Avola is famous abroad especially for the Mandorla Avola, the perfect owl to think of Antonello's female faces, as defined by Sicilian writer Leonardo Sciascia, and for the Nero d’Avola, the ancient wine, both known and exported all over the world for their unique and unmistakable flavors.
The house, named after the unique hexagonal plant of Avola, lays in a typical Sicilian courtyard, a very convenient location, just off the main road, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, on the corner with Piazza dei Tre Leoni.
Among the closest best beaches, some are not to be missed, such as Vendicari, Cala Mosche, San Lorenzo, Eloro, Calabernardo, Sabbiadoro, Fontane Bianche and Arenella.
